Services Available to Professional Advisors

Let The Dayton Foundation help you make your clients' charitable giving easy and effective. We offer a variety of services, available at no cost to you or your client, that can assist you in your work.

Presentations
Would you and your associates be interested in a personal presentation about The Dayton Foundation and the benefits of charitable giving for your clients? Join us at our offices in the Kettering Tower, or we will meet with you at a location and time of your convenience. We also offer regular lunchtime presentations at the Foundation.

To schedule a meeting or for more information about our lunchtime presentations, contact Deb Seger, administrative assistant, Development, at (937) 225-9964.
Seminars
Twice during the year, we partner with other organizations to present educational seminars for financial and estate planners. Many of these also offer a variety of types of continuing education credits.

To be added to the mailing list for upcoming seminars, you may e-mail Deb Seger, administrative assistant, Development.
Free Illustrations
Let us run free charitable gift-planning illustrations for you and your client through our Crescendo Software. Calculations are available for charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and more.
Free Literature
The Dayton Foundation offers free copies of our brochures, How to Be a Hero to Your Clients, How to Make the Most of Your Charitable Gifts, Charitable Checking AccountSM Service, Family Foundation PlusSM - Better than a Private Foundation, a 13-minute videotape that describes the Foundation and how it works with donors and the community, and other information about the Foundation for you to have on hand at your offices for working with your clients.

These publications are a great tool for promoting the benefits of charitable giving, as well as for providing an introduction to the services of The Dayton Foundation. Our brochures, annual report, newsletters and history booklet, The Vision and The Promise, also are available online through our Publications page. To request copies of our publications, fill out our online Request for Information form.
Futures, the Foundation's Newsletter for Professional Advisors
Futures is The Dayton Foundation's award-winning newsletter tailored to professional advisors and estate planners. Each issue features a different professional advisor in our community. The author demonstrates how particular charitable giving vehicles work, their benefits and specific case examples. Futures is distributed quarterly to over 1,400 professional advisors in the Greater Miami Valley region. Archived copies of the Foundation's most recent issues are available on our Publications page or by request.
GiftLaw
We are pleased to offer GiftLaw, a web-based, gift planning tool from Cresendo Interactive. Updated weekly, GiftLaw helps attorneys, accountants and other professional advisors interested in charitable gift planning strategies stay connected to important new legislation, recent IRS private letter rulings and other articles on charitable planning topics.
