Help Your Neighbors Through the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund of The Dayton Foundation
The Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund was established in response to the devastation left in the wake of tornadoes that swept through Greater Dayton on May 27. The fund allows The Dayton Foundation to distribute funds to charitable organizations that are addressing long-term and immediate needs for our friends and neighbors affected by these storms, and assisting in rebuilding and recovery efforts in our region. One hundred percent of donations to the fund will be distributed to vetted nonprofit organizations that are helping others get back on their feet after catastrophic events, now and in the future.
If you are interested in supporting community relief and rebuilding efforts through the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund (GDDRF) of The Dayton Foundation, here’s how:
How to Donate:
The Dayton Foundation welcomes contributions from the community, and hundreds of generous people and businesses have already contributed. If you would like to help community relief efforts through the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund but do not currently have a Dayton Foundation fund you can make secure credit card donation by clicking the link below. You may also contribute by check, instructions are listed below.
If you are a fund holder with The Dayton Foundation and are signed up for Donor Express, you may a gift through your fund by clicking the &ldquo:Make a gift through your Dayton Foundation Fund” below.
Please specify in the "Grant Purpose" section on the "Grant Recommendation" screen of Donor Express that your contribution is to be made for local tornado relief efforts.
If donating by check, please mail it to The Dayton Foundation, 40 N. Main Street, Suite 500, Dayton, OH 45423. “Greater Dayton Disaster Relief” should be designated on the check or in the fund name field.
