How The Dayton Foundation Recognizes Donors

As a Dayton Foundation donor, your generosity says a lot about your commitment to charitable giving and to our Miami Valley community. It is important to The Dayton Foundation to recognize your contribution in ways that are meaningful to you and respectful of your charitable intentions.
Listings and Feature Articles in Foundation Publications
When you establish an endowed (long-term) fund with The Dayton Foundation, you become a part of the Foundation's ongoing history, a history that spans more than 80 years and includes thousands of charitable individuals like yourself.

In recognition of your commitment, we will list and describe your fund in Good News, The Dayton Foundation's award-winning newsletter that is read by over 10,000 donors and other friends of The Dayton Foundation.

We also periodically will include fund listings in the Foundation's award-winning annual Report to the Community and on our web site. If you have provided us with a photograph of yourself or a photograph relating to the purpose of your fund, we may include that as well.

Including feature articles in Good News and on our web site is another way we highlight the good work of our donors and their charitable funds and help others to understand how they can use The Dayton Foundation to help charities to make a difference.
Invitations to Special Events
As a member of The Dayton Foundation's family of donors, you are invited to the Foundation's donor receptions and special events, including our biennial meeting. Participating in these events is a great opportunity to reconnect with the Foundation's staff and your fellow donors, as well as to meet new friends.
Anonymity
For some donors, being recognized in any of the above listed manners is welcomed. Others may wish to have their name and/or their endowment fund excluded from the Foundation publications and online listings. Your satisfaction and your privacy are very important to us (click here for our Privacy Policy). That is why we will honor your request to remain anonymous and protect your identity, if you so choose.
