The mission of 937 Hoop Dreams is to develop and operate programs, activities and facilities, such as recreational sports programs and basketball leagues and camps, in order to increase the health status of children and young adults who are under-resourced or distressed. Funds will be used to expand the nonprofit organization’s program by acquiring court-regulated basketballs and two additional professional-grade portable basketball hoops. These enhancements will significantly increase the program’s capacity to engage more youth and help transform winners into leaders.
