The mission of A Special Wish Foundation of Southwest Ohio is to grant the wish of a child or adolescent (birth through age 20) who has been diagnosed by a physician with a life-threatening disorder. The nonprofit organization’s board of directors has undergone recent changes, including the exit of several long-term, experienced board members. Several of the new board members are serving on a board for the first time or have only a few years of experience. Funds will be used to conduct board development training to help create a strong and confident board to better serve families, partners and the community.
