The Dayton Foundation is pleased to welcome Amy Wagner as its new senior vice president, Operations. Wagner most recently served as president and chief operating officer for Ohio’s Hospice, Inc., where she oversaw all aspects of the statewide organization. She is part of the Foundation’s Operations staff, which currently includes Jeanne Holihan. Holihan, who has served as the senior vice president of Operations since 2018, will retire at the end of March 2024
A lifelong Dayton-area resident, Wagner has over 25 years of experience in human resources and operational leadership. She has played an active part in strategic planning, policy management, public and employee relations, budget planning, board engagement and more. Prior to becoming president and COO for Ohio’s Hospice, Inc., she was the vice president of administration for Hospice of Dayton. Wagner earned her Bachelor of Science in business and human resources management from Wright State University.
Wagner is an active community volunteer and currently serves on the boards of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School and chairs its Campus Operations and Facilities Council. Prior board associations include the Muse Machine, National Hospice Cooperative and OHI Hospice, Inc. She also is a youth volleyball coach.
