Oakwood Schools Foundation - John W. Berry, Sr., Memorial Scholarship

The John W. Berry, Sr., Memorial Scholarship was established in March 2001 to offer financial assistance to graduating seniors of Oakwood High School so they may continue their education at four-year institutions of higher learning. This fund honors the memory of John W. Berry, Sr.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating high school senior from Oakwood High School,
• have a minimum 3.0 GPA based on a 4.0 scale,
• demonstrate financial need,
• be accepted to a four-year college or university,
• demonstrate leadership skills, and
• demonstrate community service involvement.
