Brookville Community Scholarship Foundation - Paul and Kathryn Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund for Trade and Technical Degrees
Paul and Kathryn Clark moved to Brookville in 1960, where they owned and operated the Brookville Pharmacy from 1960 to 1985. The pharmacy started on Market Street but moved to the Brookside Shopping Center in 1973. It was later acquired by Rite Aid and continued to operate until 2024. Paul and Kathryn often hired Brookville students to work in the pharmacy, and they were proud boosters of the Brookville community and its schools throughout their lives. They believed that serving the needs of the community and investing in students helps everyone grow and prosper. The scholarships offered are for highly motivated students pursuing a skilled trade.
Applicants must:
- be a graduating senior from Brookville High School,
- plan to earn a degree or certificate in a skilled trade area, and
- be accepted to a two-year college, trade or technical skill program.
Preference will be given for students who have participated in community service, extracurricular activities in school or the community and/or employment. Financial need will be considered if all else is equal.
