Camm Family Scholarship
Peter Camm was a French teach and theater director, among other roles, for The Miami Valley School from 1982 to 2018. He led many immersions overseas and closer to home. He served as trustee for the school from 2018 to 2022. Peter and his wife, Anne, have children, Matthew (’99) and Emily (’02), who attended the school and benefited from close relationships with teachers, the challenging academics, the immersion programs and the class friendships. The scholarship is for a graduating MVS senior who embodies the traits set forth by the school’s mission and is a young person of promise who is becoming a self-sustaining learner and compassionate global citizen.
Applicants must:
- be a graduating senior from the Miami Valley School,
- be accepted to a two- or four-year college or university,
- demonstrate financial need,
- demonstrate compassionate global citizenship through actions that reflect empathy, cultural awareness and a commitment to making a positive impact in school, the community and the wider world, and
- actively engage in the classroom and in the life of the school as a leader and thoughtful contributor.
