The Dayton Sewing Collaborative trains and develops skilled sewists, reclaims and redistributes sewing items and creates sewn products to benefit the community. Funds will be used to establish a pilot Fashion Club at Belmont High School to build confidence, foster creativity and provide students with access to equipment, tools and textiles. The DSC will provide expertise, mentoring and guidance, while Belmont High School will supply the students and meeting space.
