Dr. Patrick Reynolds Music Scholarship

To celebrate Dr. Patrick Reynolds and his 25 years as conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, we have created a scholarship fund in his name through The Dayton Foundation. This scholarship is intended for current or former members of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra who will continue their participation as members of the orchestra or band at the college and university level. The scholarship is open to music majors and to those who choose other areas of study but will remain active as musicians in college.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating high school senior or current college student,
• be a current or former member of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and
• continue to participate in orchestra or band for at least one year while enrolled in a two- or four-year college.
