The Economic & Community Development Institute is dedicated to ensuring all entrepreneurs, regardless of where they live, their gender or their race, have access to funding and the business mentoring services they need to build small businesses that thrive. In the spring of 2024, the U.S. Small Business Administration awarded a five-year grant to ECDI to establish a Women’s Business Center at Central State University. Funds will be used to support the new office and expand ECDI’s proven wrap-around services and small business programming in Dayton.
