Emerge Recovery and Trade Initiative’s mission is to empower people seeking recovery and aging out of foster care to rebuild their lives through transformational and vocational pathways. Funds will be used to equip the Automotive Service Technician Program on the Emerge campus, eliminating transportation barriers and aligning the program with other skilled-trades offerings. The 300 hour certification blends classroom learning with hands on training using industry standard equipment, preparing up to 24 students annually for in demand automotive careers and providing a pathway to stability and living wage employment.
