Families of Addicts Foundation (FOA) supports families and individuals struggling with addiction. Love Grandparents of Dayton, a program of the FOA that supports grandparents raising grandchildren due to substance use disorder or death, seeks funding to train staff to work with grandchildren who have not shown progress under traditional learning methods. Training will help staff identify the root causes of children’s challenges, such as issues with short-term memory, information assimilation, test taking, writing and reading, by using techniques from the Geiman Inventory method to address these challenges.
