Chuck Dickerson Memorial Scholarship
Chuck Dickerson Memorial Scholarship was established by his family in 2018. Chuck was an eternal optimist and entrepreneur who believed in service to his family and community. Chuck lived his life by the optimist creed: Remaining too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. The scholarship is for children or grandchildren of current or past members of the Centerville Noon Optimist.
Applicants must:
- be a graduating high school senior,
- be accepted to a two- or four-year college or university,
- demonstrate a commitment to community service, and
- be the child or grandchild of a current or past member of the Centerville Noon Optimists.
