Betsy Pence Memorial Scholarship

This merit-based scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Betsy Pence. Betsy graduated with honors in 1996 from Beavercreek High School and was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Club, and the International Club. She loved music and played several instruments including the piano and clarinet. She went on to attend Miami University, where she made the dean's list and planned to major in zoology.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior from Beavercreek High School,
• be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university, and
• have a minimum 3.5 GPA and strong academic history.

Preference will be given to students who plan to attend Miami University.
