Miamisburg Schools Education Foundation - Schmidt Family Scholarship

The Schmidt Family Scholarship was established by their sons, Michael and Frederick, to financially assist graduating seniors of Miamisburg High School who are planning on pursuing further education at a college or university in the field of music. Mrs. Schmidt was a trained vocalist and pianist and a founder of the Vivace Music Club, where she was a member from 1927 to 2004.

Applicants must:

• plan to be a full-time student majoring in music at an accredited four-year college/university,
• have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and
• have participated for three years in the Miamisburg High School music program
