Miami Valley Community Concert Association Scholarship

The Miami Valley Community Concert Association (MVCCA), established in 1991, was a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing great live professional entertainment at an affordable price. MVCCA was an entirely volunteer-run organization presenting musical performances by world-renowned professional artists for the enjoyment of Miami Valley residents. Musical acts included several genres, from classical, big band and rock and roll music. The organization presented their final concert in May of 2025. This scholarship is dedicated to the efforts of MVCCA trustees, season ticket holders, patrons, advertisers and supporters throughout the 34-year history of the organization. The MVCCA scholarship is a gift for students who love music and want to share that love.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating high school senior or current college student from the Miami Valley,
• be accepted to or currently attending a two- or four-year technical school, college or university,
• have participated in school and/or community-based musical activities, and
• plan to major in a music-related area with a preference for music education or music performance.

Financial need will be considered if all else is equal.
