Oakwood Schools Foundation - Scott Harman Scholarship

The family of Scott Harman, a 2010 graduate of Oakwood High School, established this scholarship in 2013 to honor and celebrate Scott's life. Scott embraced life with passion and a love for sports, music and his friends. He had the courage to be himself and a gift for making people, young and old, smile. Scott was a fun, vocal teammate who didn't take himself too seriously. Scott made everyone around him feel like a longtime friend.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior from Oakwood High School,
• be accepted to an accredited technical school, junior college, community college or four-year college or university,
• have a minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale,
• be a full-time student,
• participate in extracurricular activities, inside or outside of school, and
• life life with enthusiasm and have a positive impact on others.

Financial need will be considered if all else is equal.
