PALS Foundation Heritage Scholarship

The Promoters of Art “ Literature “ Science (PALS) established this scholarship to help students pursue their studies in art, literature or science. The award can be applied toward tuition at an accredited two- or four- year college, university or technical school.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating high school senior from a school in the Miami Valley,
• be an American of African descent accepted to a two- or four-year technical school, college or university,
• preference will be given to students planning to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU),
• plan to major in an area of study that closely relates to art, literature or science,
• have a minimum 3.0 GPA based upon a 4.0 scale,
• demonstrate community service, volunteering, leadership and overcoming obstacles,
• demonstrate creativity and/or artistic ability strength and skills, and
• demonstrate financial need.
