Tina Gillespie Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2025 in memory of Tina Marie (Frantz) Gillespie, who was a 1986 graduate of Versailles High School. Tina was a member of cross country and track teams, drama club (president), French club, art club, Varsity V, National Honor Society, college club, math and science club, and chorus. She was a recipient of the Copeland Scholarship, which allowed her to attend Wright State University, where she was selected as co-op student of the year during her senior year while interning with the Inter-American Trade Corporation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and later earned a master’s degree in supply chain and logistical analysis. After college she established herself as a highly impactful, irreplaceable employee as a supply chain analyst for American Honda, Elder-Beerman, Evenflo and Gibson Greetings. She was a tireless worker, quick and effective problem solver and constant supporter of her fellow employees. Tina’s greatest quality was her relentless passion for helping and supporting others. She was very active in the St. Peter parish in Huber Heights where she assumed many leadership roles her kids’ activities and supported numerous charitable outreach efforts in southwest Ohio. The Tina Gillespie Memorial Scholarship was created with the goal of continuing to provide hardworking, ambitious, fearless students from Versailles High School the additional support necessary to maximize their gifts, take full advantage of their opportunities, attack their dreams and ultimately devote their lives in service to others.
