Helen S. Lawson Memorial Scholarship

The Helen S. Lawson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2001 by Helen S. Lawson to financially assist graduating seniors or graduates of Vandalia-Butler High School. Applicants must plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university and major in Elementary Education.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior or graduate of Butler High School,
• demonstrate financial need,
• intend to major/be majoring in Elementary Education,
• be accepted to or currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university, and
• be enrolled full-time.
