Valor Therapeutics is a nonprofit organization that offers music and art therapy and yoga to veterans in Dayton, Ohio. Funds will be used to implement Soul Recovery, an innovative, trauma-informed therapeutic program for justice-involved veterans participating in veterans treatment courts. Soul Recovery directly addresses brain health barriers to improve recovery outcomes, increase VTC graduation rates and strengthen public safety. By improving emotional regulation and strengthening protective factors, such as connectedness and coping skills, Soul Recovery supports long-term employment, housing stability and successful reintegration for its participants.
