Vandalia Butler Foundation - The Rizvi Family Scholarship

Established by Teri and Zafar Rizvi, the Rizvi Family Scholarship supports graduating seniors from Butler High School who demonstrate strong motivation to pursue a college degree but face significant financial need. Preference will be given to first-generation college students planning to attend the University of Dayton. The Rizvi family’s connection to the Vandalia-Butler City Schools spans three generations. Collectively they hold five degrees from the University of Dayton — a testament to their deep commitment to education and community.

Applicants must:

• be a graduating senior from Butler High School,
• be accepted to a two-year, four-year, technical school or college or university (preference for students attending the University of Dayton),
• demonstrate financial need, and
• demonstrate community service or participate in school activities.
