The Dayton Foundation has launched its 2026-2027 scholarship application process and is pleased to announce that 25 new scholarship opportunities have been added to its online scholarship application system, ScholarshipCONNECTSM. Scholarships range from one-time, $1,000 awards up to $10,000 renewable scholarships and vary from need-based and merit-based awards. Students can access ScholarshipCONNECT by visiting www.daytonfoundation.org/scholarships.
ScholarshipCONNECT offers more than 300 scholarship opportunities through The Dayton Foundation and educational foundations that are part of the Foundation’s family of funds. The system uses a detailed questionnaire to match students, based upon their educational interests and background, to possible scholarship opportunities. Students and parents also can receive helpful application tips and access links to FAFSA information and other scholarship resources.
Additionally, students and parents are encouraged to follow The Dayton Foundation on Instagram; the Foundation’s main channel for sharing scholarship information, connecting with students, answering questions and providing timely advice throughout the application process. Content includes:
- opportunities for students to volunteer with partner organizations across the Dayton Region,
- guidance on crafting compelling resumes and scholarship applications; and
- important reminders about scholarship deadlines, as well as timely updates on award decisions and mailing dates.
