Services Available to Professional Advisors
Let The Dayton Foundation help you make your clients’ charitable giving easy and effective. We offer a variety of services, available at no cost to you or your client, that can assist you in your work.
Presentations
Would you and your associates be interested in a personal presentation about The Dayton Foundation and the benefits of charitable giving for your clients? Join us at our offices in the Kettering Tower, or we will meet with you at a location and time of your convenience. We also offer regular lunchtime presentations at the Foundation.

Seminars
We partner with other organizations to present educational seminars for financial and estate planners. Many of these also offer a variety of types of continuing education credits.

Free Illustrations
Let us run free charitable gift-planning illustrations for you and your client through our Crescendo Software. Calculations are available for charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and more.
Free Literature
The Dayton Foundation offers free copies of our brochures, How to Be a Hero to Your Clients, How to Make the Most of Your Charitable Gifts, Charitable Checking Account℠ Service, Community Impact Endowment Funds, Family Foundation Plus℠ – Better than a Private Foundation, a 13-minute video that describes the Foundation and how it works with donors and the community, and other information about the Foundation for you to have on hand at your offices for working with your clients.
These publications are a great tool for promoting the benefits of charitable giving, as well as for providing an introduction to the services of The Dayton Foundation. Our brochures, annual report, newsletters and history booklet, The Vision and The Promise, also are available online through our News and Publications page.
Futures, the Foundation’s Newsletter for Professional Advisors
Futures is The Dayton Foundation’s award-winning newsletter tailored to professional advisors and estate planners. Each issue features a different professional advisor in our community. The author demonstrates how particular charitable giving vehicles work, their benefits and specific case examples. Futures is distributed quarterly to over 1,400 professional advisors in the Greater Dayton Region. Archived copies of the Foundation’s most recent issues are available on our News and Publications page or by request. Futures also is available electronically. GiftLaw
We are pleased to offer GiftLaw, an e-newsletter from Cresendo Interactive. Updated weekly, GiftLaw helps attorneys, accountants and other professional advisors interested in charitable gift planning strategies stay connected to important new legislation, recent IRS private letter rulings and other articles on charitable planning topics.
